Hey everyone!
I have some new and exciting favourites this month that I'm loving, and I'm sure you will too!
1. Urban Decay's YDK- this shade is gorgeous (three from the right in the photo) it looked like a brown/pink shade with silver/champagne shimmer. There is no actual glitter in YDK like there is in chopper but the shimmer can cause fallout if you aren't careful when applying.
2. Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze- this is a great base, when I was looking at it online I thought it would be too dark for a base, but as long as you blend it out it isn't that dark, it's more of a pale bronze!
3. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black- I LOVE this eyeliner, it's so easy to use, especially if you are doing a winged eye!I've had this liner for months and it isn't drying out at all, it's good as new. It only takes 1 pass to create a deep black line and you can make it as thick/thin as you like!
4. Joe Fresh eyeshadow in Silk- I love this shadow, its so close to my skin colour that i use it to blend out harsh lines from my eyeshadow everyday. I've also been using it to set concealer because its such a lightweight shadow. It has no shimmer and is available only in Canada at any Loblaws stores.
5. Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer in Ivory- I bought this concealer to use on my under eyes but it didn't have enough coverage so now i use it on my eyelid before putting on shadow to give me a clean base. I find that as long as you set it with a powder before applying shadow it doesn't crease.
6. Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Light Bronze Pearl- I've started using this everyday all over my face to give a glow. It doesn't make you look overly tan but it does give a glow. There is shimmer in this but I don't see it once it's on my face.
7 Benefit Blush in Coralista- I love this blush, it's pigmented, smells amazing and its such a flattering colour. I love using this blush for spring and summer and I think I will get a lot of use out of it in the coming months!!
8. L'oreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara in Carbon Black- This has been my favourite mascara for the past 4 months! it makes my lashes look long and voluminous without being too clumpy. This mascara does clump sometimes but i find that if you keep coming the brush through and separating the clumps with the tip/your fingers then it works perfectly! I recommend this to anyone with medium length lashes that want more wow-factor.
9. Bdellium Tools Blending Brush #785- i picked up this brush at IMATS Toronto and I'm so glad i did! its perfect for blending out shadows and harsh lines. I also use it to apply colour to my crease. This brush would also work well for setting undereye concealer with a lightweight powder!
Those are all my favourites for the month of March, let me know if you pick up any of them or if you already have some!
